i got a msi error! this is what i found in my log! Same problem error 1603 and i am not able to install the software at all. In this latest attempt I had created a new admin user on my laptop, copied the install CD content to the hard drive, checked that no compatibility options where checked on the set-up.exe properties, and ran the install checking for updates. I am attaching the most recent install attempt log files. i continue to get the same error and automatic rollback. I have tried many many things suggested on this site and have had no luck. Since the uninstall I have not been able to get the install to complete. I had some problems with the capture and was told to uninstall and reinstall.
